Clyde Edward McLosky
Age 84 of Corunna passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday, March 7, 2016 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor James Bare officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Sunday from 1pm to 8pm.
Clyde was born December 4, 1931 in Chesaning, the son of Walter and Margaret (Archibald) McLosky.
He attended Chesaning Schools, graduated from Corunna High School and proudly served in the United States Army.
Clyde enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and camping. He will be remembered by his loved ones as a great story teller.
He married Barbara Wenzel on October 14, 1950 in Oakley.
Clyde was a lifelong farmer and retired from General Motors after 34 years of service.
Clyde is survived by his wife Barbara of 65 years; children Edward (Janis) McLosky, Gale (Dirk) Rennick, Curtis (Bobbi) McLosky; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren on the way; sister Alverda Mark; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Vining, his parents, brother Mitch, sister Frances, 1 half brother and 2 half sisters.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Memorial Healthcare Hospice or Memorial Cancer Center.
