PALENTYN, Heinz G. - Of Grand Blanc, age 95, died Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 12-3pm and 5-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Heinz was born in Berlin, Germany on June 21, 1924, the son of the late Hans and Margharita (Sanders) Palentyn. He was employed at General Motors as an electrician. Heinz loved dancing, gardening and spending time with his family.
Surviving are wife, Sybille;
Son, Clay and wife Deborah Palentyn of Tennessee;
Grandchildren, Erica and husband David O’Toole of Mt. Pleasant, Alexander Palentyn and Alesha Palentyn;
Great-grandchild, Joel Thomas;
Brother, Guenther Palentyn of Florida;
And daughter-in-law, Ann Palentyn of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by son, Thomas Palentyn.
