MEYER, Frances - Of Gladwin formerly of Flint, age 97, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Gladwin.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton,
Father Gary McInnis officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Gladwin area.
Visitation 1-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Tuesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Frances was born in Aniwa, Wisconsin on December 27, 1918. On September 27, 1941, she married Edward Meyer in Detroit. Frances was very involved with UAW Local #591 Retirees Group. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and playing Scrabble and knitting.
Surviving are children, Eugene and wife Greta Meyer of Denmark, Ken and wife Judy Meyer of Gladwin, Karen Riccio and husband Dale Severs of Fox Lake, IL;
6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren;
Sister, Violet Wincentsen of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward.
