WALLS, Ione Harriet -- Age 91 of Swartz Creek, died August 7, 2020. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Wednesday, August 12 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial at Flint Memorial Park, Mt Morris. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday and 11AM until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ione was born September 25, 1928 in Flint the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Stewart) Walhfors. She married Ervin Walls on February 19, 1972 in Flint. Ione attended Flint Northern High School and graduated in 1947. She retired from GM parts division in 1983 with 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, and studied Genealogy for many years.
She is survived by husband, Ervin Walls of Swartz Creek; children, Gregory (Angie) Nowosielski of FL, Joetta Brady of Flint, Mark Nowosielski of Montana, Rodney Nowosielski of Swartz Creek, Terry Nowosielski of Seabawing, LaSondra Nowosielski of Grand Blanc; step children, Ann (Pete) Chapman of Traverse City, Michelle ( Jamie) Boven of Grand Blanc; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Howard, Harold and Norman Walhfors; grandson, Craig J. Nowosielski.
