KRAEMER, Robert T. – Of Cedar, Michigan, formerly of Flint, age 89, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street, Flint, Father George Schommer officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the Mass at church.
Robert was born in Ahmeek, Michigan on September 2, 1928 and was resident of Flint until July, 1988 when they moved to Little Traverse Lake in Cedar, Michigan.
His circle was started and completed at Hurley Hospital when he met Audrey on a blind date in May, 1951.
He married Audrey L. Cornell on May 9, 1953 in Flint at St Luke’s.
Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, was a G.M. Retiree and Past President of the Athletic Association at Powers.
He was a member of the Cedar Chamber of Commerce and sat on the Board of Little Traverse Lake Association.
He was the head honcho at Sugar Loaf Golf Course and Manitou Passage!
He volunteered at Interlochen Center of Arts.
Mr. Kraemer retired from GM Accounting in 1987.
Surviving are wife, Audrey;
children, Mark and wife Sandy of Flushing,
Sharon and husband Wayne Cox of Gaines,
Todd and wife Jan of Grand Blanc,
Brad and wife Peggy of Grand Blanc;
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
