SPARKS, George “Sparky” Arthur – of Davison, age 84, passed away November 28, 2018 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, December 3, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Larry Survance officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 11 AM – 6 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Monday.
George was born in Flint, MI on October 15, 1934, son of the late William and Myrtle (Lalone) Sparks. He married Mary Kotyuha on December 16, 1961. George retired from Buick after 42 years of service. He enjoyed cruising around in his classic cars.
George is survived by his wife, Mary Sparks; son, Timothy Sparks; brother, Kenneth Sparks; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, William, Robert and Lawrence Sparks.
