EAGLE, Donnie W. - Of Flint, age 84, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Rev. Paul R. Leslie officiating.
Visitation 2-8pm Wednesday and 12Noon Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Lakeside Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for Mr. Eagle’s medical expenses.
Donnie was born in Tesla, West Virginia on May 10, 1930, the son of the late Benjamin H. and Treacy B. (Jackson) Eagle. On February 24, 1949, he married Jessie Mae Jackson. Donnie spent most of his life in Michigan, pastoring churches for 47 years. He currently was a member and the Pastor of Crossroads Temple Church of God in Flint. Donnie was also an Ordained Bishop in The Church of God.
Surviving are wife, Jessie;
children, Sally Ann (Jerry) Church, Cindy Lou (Rick) Truesdail and Donnie Harrison (Jean) Eagle;
11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren;
sister, Lucille Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by his son, Henry Steven Eagle on May 12, 2014 and two sisters.
