Beulah Mae Bell, age 101, of Mt. Dora, Florida, formerly from Fostoria, MI passed away at her home on December 4, 2019. Beulah was born on December 28, 1917, in Flint, MI, the daughter of Louis and Elnora (Thompson) DeWitt. Beulah grew up in the Flint area. On February 22, 1941, she married Daniel Bell. They started their married life together on the farm in Fostoria, MI. Beulah was a homemaker. She loved taking care of her family and seeing to their needs. In 1977, Beulah and Daniel sold the farm to their son and moved to Mio, MI, to enjoy their retirement years. Beulah has lived in Mt. Dora, Florida for the past 30 years.
Beulah is survived by her daughters, Diane Pettengill of Florida and Carol (Henry Culp) Holmes of Florida; her daughters-in-law, Brenda Bell and Judy Bell; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel; her sons, Clayton, Dennis, and Murney Bell; her grandson, Adam Bell; her great-grandson, Ian Pettengill; her sister, Mildred Allen and her brothers, Clyde, Jim, Claude, Forrest (Brick), Milford and Harold (Ted) DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.
Visitation for Beulah will be on Friday, December 13, 2019 at West Deerfield United Methodist Church, 10:00 A.M.-1:00:00 P.M. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Phillip Hudson will be officiating.
