GLAZAR, Robert Edward "Bob" - Age 91, of Fenton, died Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Lawrence Bowlin officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4-9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Bob was born March 29, 1928 in Flint the son of James and Mary(Matosinka) Glazar. He attended Flint Northern High School. He married Charlotte Maxine Ross August 7, 1976 in Linden and she preceded him in death January 24, 2017. He retired in 1985 from Fisher Body I after 37 years of service. Bob had resided in Fenton since 1973 coming from Argentine. He was a member of Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church. He also was a member of U.A.W. Local #581. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was an avid Detroit Lions fan.
Surviving are: his children, Steven Ferguson of Ann Arbor, Herm (Jennifer) Ferguson of Fenton, Dave Ferguson of Fenton, Kathy (Ryan) Brown of Flint, and Margie (Keith) Shirshun of Linden; grandchildren, Tommy, Crystal, Angela, Steve, Mitchell, Danny, Courtney, Katlyn, and Jason; and several great grandchildren; brother, Ted Glazar of Clio; sister-in-law, Kay Glazar; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; sons, Daniel and Alvin Ferguson; sisters, Emma, Helen, and Nada; and brothers, Jim and Jack Glazar. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
