SABA, EDGAR E."EDDIE" –
Of Swartz Creek, Age 65, passed away in the comfort of his home on Monday, October 28, 2024.
Eddie was born in Manhattan, New York on August 31, 1959. The son of the late Tewfic and Gerda (Wodke) Saba. At fifteen, Eddie and his parents relocated to Michigan, where he graduated from Kearsley High School (Class of 1977).
On February 14, 1987 he married Christine, the love of his life.
As a dedicated business owner, Eddie established Paradise Express on April 23, 1984. Through his hard work and vision, he created a thriving business that became a cornerstone of the community.
With a sharp sense of humor, Eddie brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew him. His infectious spirit and playful wit made every gathering memorable, creating an atmosphere of friendliness and connection wherever he went and leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
Eddie had a passion for sports cars and riding his Harley, along with a love for the outdoors, traveling, and sightseeing. He enjoyed watching sports and cherished time spent with family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Christine; his loving daughters, Jennifer and Jessica; his treasured grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jayce; his sister, Zia Herberg; his niece, Brandi; nephew, Brandon; Close cousins, Ramzi Mansour and Samir Saba; Amongst many other loving family members and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his cousin, Mounir Saba.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Friday and 12 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial taking place in Crestwood Cemetery.
