Terry Lynn Goodman, 56, of Durand, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Visitation will be at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home, Durand Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Pastor John Walworth will officiate.
Terry was born September 24, 1960, in the old Durand Hospital, to Louis and Anna (Boggs) Goodman. He married Nancy Axtell in Montrose, MI on September 13, 1980, and together they raised four children.
Terry enjoyed working out of his barn on many projects, especially with his sons. There wasn’t much that he couldn’t fix. He was a hard working man, always willing to go the extra mile for anyone. He instilled this work ethic and caring nature in his children. Terry always enjoyed life by making others smile with his joking manner. He also had the pleasure of becoming a first time grandfather just 3 weeks prior to his passing.
Terry is survived by his wife, Nancy A. Goodman; Children: Scott, Richard (Krista), Randy (Kelli), Shelley, and only grandson Lucas. Brothers Edwin (Sandy), and Richard (Lynn). He was preceded in death by parents and sister
Sandra Kay Goodman.
