HENSON, Dale Duane – of Davison, age 74, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at his residence. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at the family’s convenience at Evergreen Cemetery, 3415 Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439; Pastor Darrell Bailey officiating.
Dale was born in Flint, MI on September 9, 1945, son of the late Leonard and Eva (Riley) Henson. He married Diane Butler on August 21, 1965 at First Baptist Church of Davison. Dale proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1964. He retired from GM in 2009. Dale enjoyed camping and going on vacation. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Dale is survived by his wife, Diane Marie Henson; children, Rick (Kelly) Henson, Mellisa (Daniel) Hall; grandchildren, Crystal Henson, Victor (Jamie) Henson, Tiffany (Gary) Lavigne, Sara Henson, Travis Russell, Sierra Hall; great grandchildren, Annabelle Henson, Aubrey Lavigne, Isaac Henson; siblings, Brenda Eastwood, Kink Henson, Coleen Britton; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Priscilla Marr, Betty Kelley, Blanche Wright, Lenard Henson and Bobby Joe Henson.
