Dorothy J. Barlow age 78 passed away June 9, 2016 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 1 pm, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Family will receive visitors from 12 noon until 8 pm Tuesday, June 14 at the funeral home. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Rev. Russ Sommer officiating. Dorothy worked in furniture upholstery in California and taught at the Goodwill. She loved sewing, crafts, volunteered to hand out commodities to the community, received prayer requests and was very involved in her church in CA. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was joined in marriage to Edward August 4, 1989 and is survived by her husband Edward, children Angela Kathy Harris, Shirley Mallard, Lois Harris, Lester C. Harris, Richard Harris and Marion Dodd, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, siblings Frank Morris, Cathy Sandoval, Patsy Dewitt and Teddy Morris. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Boyd Jr. Morris. |
