JOHNSON, Lucille Bertha (Baker) – of Otter Lake, MI, age 99, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Suncrest. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor David Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday, October 11, 2018, 12-4 PM Friday, October 12, 2018 and 12-1 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home.
Lucille was born in Otter Lake, MI on April 3, 1919, daughter of the late Fred and Bertha (Lehman) Baker. She married Wayne Johnson on October 23, 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1984. Lucille retired from the USPS in Otter Lake, MI. She was a member of Good Shepherd UMC in Roscommon, MI. Lucille enjoyed crocheting, Detroit Tigers baseball, coaching baseball, bowling and spending time with her family.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Carmen Kinney; 14 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by 4 children, Roma Knorr, Fred Johnson, Lyle “Tom” Johnson and David Johnson.
