WHITE, Bert E. – of Lupton, Michigan, age 85 died Monday, December 18, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. There are no services planned. Memorial contributions can be made to Wellspring Hospice.
Bert was born November 14, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to the late Bert and Mary (Vogt) White. He will be reunited with the love of his life of 58 years Ellen (Morrison) White, who predeceased him in 2009. Bert retired from Buick in 1982 and moved to Lupton, Michigan to the house he built with the help of family and friends. Bert and his wife Ellen spent 35 years of retirement fishing and hunting. They enjoyed many trips to the U P menominee fishing. He was a lifetime fan of the Lions, Tigers, U of M Wolverines and followed them through all of there up and downs. He cherished his trip to the Lions championship win in 1957 until his death.
Surviving are: Children, Ron (Debbie) White, Pam (Ed) Clark; Sister: Jean Guyer; Brother-in-law: Clare Williams; Grandchildren: Eddie (Andrea) Clark, Jason White, Matthew (Amanda) White; Great Grandchildren: Nicole Clark, Natalie Clark, Eddie Clark, Evelyn White, and his dog Rudy.
