HAYES, Lula M. (Barry)- Of Prescott formerly of Flint, age 70, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her nieces residence.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Hank Messing officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be directed to the American Lung Association or Genesys Home Health and Hospice.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lula was born in Flint on January 21, 1942, the daughter of the late Oscar and Dorothy Barry and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life. Lula enjoyed playing board and video games.
Surviving are husband, Robert;
son Matthew (Tammy) Wood;
stepchildren, Glendora, Joann, Michelle and Robert;
sisters, Betty and husband Victor Allen and Roberta Barry;
brother, Oscar and wife Julie Barry;
special niece, Dotty Kaatz and Ben Peck;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
