Joseph John “Joe Dirt” Miller age 42, of Elsie, MI, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019, at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor John James officiating. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Joseph was born in Saginaw, MI on June 24, 1976, the son of Ronald Miller and Judy (Deming) Miller. He married Spring Stevens on June 25, 2004, in Saginaw, MI.
Joe loved fishing, hunting and tinkering with RC Gas Power Trucks. He enjoyed spending time with his family and picking on his nieces and nephews. Joe and Spring enjoyed trips to the casino and race tracks.
He is survived by his wife Spring Miller of Elsie, father Ronald Miller of Elsie, mother Judy Miller of Elsie, mother in law Mary Stevens of Elsie, sisters: Theresa and Greg Morris of Durand, Tracy Miller of Henderson, Rhonda and Scott Sawvel of Oakley, and JoAnn and Jason Harris of Henderson, sister and brothers in law: Trina Stevens and Larry Housman of Ashley, Eric Stevens of Elsie, Willie Stevens of Elsie, Roger Stevens of Elsie, Dale Stevens of North Star, and James Stevens of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by his babies; dogs, Duff and Bella and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.
