DeHART, Donna Jean - Age 74, of Fenton, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family, Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St. Fenton. Pastor Michelle Forsyth officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday from 1-8 PM and at church Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project or Adopt-A-Pet.
Donna was born October 28, 1941 in Flint the daughter of Donald and Jean Marie (McCrossen) Hatfield. She was a 1960 graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Dr. William E. DeHart December 31, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. She was employed as the office manager for Dr. William E. DeHart's Podiatry Office for 42 years. Donna had resided in Fenton since 1981 coming from Flint. She was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: her daughters, Sandra Jean Talbot and Michealanne Sue Kozan both of Fenton; beloved friend, Robert Haas of Fenton; step daughter, Lisa Marie DeHart of Reno, NV; step son, William DeHart of Byron; grandchildren, Thomas Robert Talbot of Fenton and Ashley Jean Talbot of Las Vegas, NV; step grandchildren, William and Jacob Kavner of Nevada, Alexis DeHart of Byron, Amanda and Jennifer Barrow of Fenton, and Joey and Elizabeth Boughner of Fenton; great grandchildren, Kaloaine and William; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved grandmother, Ada Maude McCrossen; beloved brother, Michael Hatfield; and sister, Sandra Scott.
