of Mt. Morris, age 66, departed on his last adventure, January 15, 2016. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life, in memory of Gail will be held at 1PM Friday, January 22, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Gail was born October 10, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to Gail E. Sr. and Cecile L. (Gibbs) Burke, the oldest of 17 children. He was a legend in the sales game like his father, the late Gail E. Sr., during Flint’s glory years. We celebrate his passing knowing the great poet in him will pave the way with wit and charm. Should there be any obstacles in his adventure; the warrior in him will clear the path. Gail was a lover of family and friends; he was the glue that held everyone together. Those who are left will honor and mourn him. He enjoyed outdoor activities and traveling with his grandchildren. Gail had a huge heart and infectious humor that will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory are: Loving mother, Cecile L. Burke; Daughter, Angela Burke; 9 grandchildren, who will miss him dearly; 3 great grandchildren; 14 siblings; Many cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
