HODGE, Austin – of Davison, age 83, went to be with his Lord November 21, 2016 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Greg Rowan officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday and 12-1 PM Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Austin was born on March 20, 1933, son of the late Myrtle Graves. He married Sharon Stratton-Attaway on October 16, 1987. Austin retired from AC Delphi in 1989 after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Davison and Gladwin Eagles Clubs. Austin loved fishing, bowling and enjoyed playing Euchre.
Austin is survived by his wife, Sharon; seven children, Matthew (Nacole), Nannette (George) Alsip, Patrick (Kim), Cynthia (Cliff) Thurlow, Steven Jahn, James Jahn, Kim Jahn; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Hodge; son, Martin Hodge; daughter, Constance Hodge-Skidmore; son, Randy Jahn; brothers, Earl and Darrell.
