PERKINS, RONALD C. – Of Flint, age 91, died Friday, February 7, 2025 at Symphony of Linden.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to My Brother’s Keeper.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ronald was born in Flint, Michigan on March 29, 1933, the son of the late Charles and Doris (Nemitz) Perkins.
On April 4, 1985 he married Judy in Las Vegas.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a member of the Trail Riders of Flint.
Mr. Perkins retired from GM with 38 years of service, retiring in 1985 and was a member of UAW Local #651.
Surviving are his wife, Judy;
daughter, Pam Aldred;
son, Ron and wife Niki Perkins;
step-children, Cameron Taljonick and Bradley Taljonick, Shawn Carr and Curt Taljonick;
many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Ciesielski; brothers, Robert and Raymond Perkins.
