Rainwater, Betty June - Age 90, of Owosso, died September 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, September 24 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, at our temporary location at the Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd. Swartz Creek, Rev. Ray Strawser officiating. Interment Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Sunday, 9-10:30 AM Monday. Betty was born February 17, 1928 in Lawrence County, Arkansas the daughter of Orris and Martha (King) Oldham. She married Harold Rainwater on June 13, 1953 in Flint; he preceded her in death May 10, 2008. Surviving are: son Ronald (Cheryl) Cowan of Oakley, MI; son-in-law John Pierce of Owosso; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Cynthia Pierce; and grandson, Gary. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
