TURNER, Cynthia R. (Giffel-Hyde) - of Clio, age 52, died Friday, October 27, 2017 at Genesee Care Center in Grand Blanc after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 11AM, Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Thetford Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 3PM until 8PM and on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Cynthia was born April 19, 1965 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harold and Mary Lou (Lary) Giffel. She graduated from Clio High School in 1983. Cynthia married George Turner on July 22, 2016. She worked for Webcor Packaging for 7 years. Cynthia enjoyed writing poetry, fishing and drawing.
Surviving are: Husband, George; Children: Crystal Hyde and Jessie Hyde; Grandchildren: Layla Lasota and Maisie Hyde; Sisters: Laura (Mike) Pemberton and Lisa (RJ) Dowlin; Brothers: Charles (Brenda) Giffel, Harold Giffel, Ray (Kathy) Giffel, and Doug (Theresa) Giffel.
