BRAYANIS, Thomai - Of Grand Blanc, age 90, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Medilodge Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2143 South Center Road, Burton, Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating.
Visitation 5-8pm Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Parastas Service will be held at 7pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Brayanis will be at the church from 10am Wednesday until the time of the service.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in memory of Thomai Brayanis.
Thomai was born in Bouf, Macedonia, Greece on November 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Antonios and Aspasia (Theodoridis) Angeledis.
In 1951 she married Theodoros Brayanis and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2010.
Surviving are brothers-in-law, Alex (Anastasia) Branoff of Grand Blanc and Stefan Branov of Czech Republic;
Cousins, Jim (Diane) Todorovski and Kosta (Luba) Todorovski;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Vetsa, brothers-in-law, George and Risto; and sister-in-law, Anastasia Sfetkides.
