COOK, Robert, age 75 and Peggy, age72, of Grand Blanc. Bob died May 3, 2011 in Hayden, Alabama and Peggy died December 24, 2011 in Grand Blanc.

A Celebration of Bob and Peggy’s life will be held from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Sugarbush Golf Course Club House, 1 Sugarbush Drive, Davison, MI.
Those desiring may make contributions to Eastwood United Methodist Church, 2209 Starkweather Street, Flint.
Bob was born on January 6, 1936 in Flint and Peggy was born on July 8, 1939 in Franklin County, Alabama.
Bob and Peggy were married on July 4, 1970.
Bob spent his career working at Hamady Brothers, General Motors and the City of Flint.
Peggy spent her career in City Government with the City of Flint.
They enjoyed traveling to their home in Alabama and spending time at the casino.
Surviving are two sons, Phillip L. Holland of Grand Blanc and
Robert H. Cook II of Hayden, Alabama;
three grandchildren, Lauren Holland,
Sarah Ella Cook and
Robert Henry Cook III;
two sisters, Linda (Troy) Barksdale and Martha Novara;
two sisters-in-law, Arlene and Lois Cook;
nephews and nieces, Ralph (Rayma) Cook, Jr.,
Cindy (Tony) Mallard,
Karla (Kent) Williams,
Tony (Janie) Novara and
Greg (Sheila) Barksdale;
a host of great-nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Lula Spraker Cook; two brothers, Ralph and George Cook.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Ray and Lilie Mae Hindman Knight; husband, Bob Cook and her sister, Hilda Campbell.
