TREIGER, Kenneth Gregory, better known as “Trigger”, age 69, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 5, 2020 in his home after a tough battle with cancer. Born September 27, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to Paul and Geraldine Treiger, he lived and worked his entire life in Flint, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Pamela Marino on May 7, 1971. They spent a beautiful 48 years together and she was by his side at the time of his passing.
Kenneth will be remembered as the best example of what a human being should be: kind, generous, and loving. He was always the first to offer his time and effort to anyone in need. A devoted husband and father to two sons, Jason and Joel. His life was a living example of Isaiah 57:1-2: The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Pamela, sons Jason (Carol) and Joel, grandchildren Julian, Aidan, and Addyson, brother Paul, sisters Joan, Paula and Debra and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Geraldine Treiger.
Please join us in celebrating his life Tuesday, March 10, 2020 with visitation 12:00pm - 7:00pm and a memorial service at 6:00 pm by Pastor Nicholas Worden at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W Hill Rd, Flint MI 48507. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
In the meantime, in honor of “Trigger,” have a seat in your garage and enjoy a beer. Those that knew him best will understand.
