ALMASSY, Lewis - Of Burton, age 88, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dan Wonderly officiating. Cremation will take place following the service with a private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Almassy was born in Flint, Michigan on January 21, 1927 and was the son of the late Louis and Ethel (Voida) Almassy. He worked for Buick Motor Division for 33 years.
Surviving are his
wife, Phyllis;
four sons, Craig, Michael, Douglas and Jeffrey;
numerous grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
