KING, Ann Julia – of Burton, age 88, passed away July 5, 2018 at The Oaks at Woodfield. A Time of Sharing will be held 5 PM Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Cremation to follow the service. Visitation will start at 2 PM on Sunday and will continue following the Time of Sharing until 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ann was born in Flint, MI on April 2, 1930, daughter of the late Hugh and Gladys (McLavey) Carter. Ann married Richard King and he preceded her in death in 2006 after 60 years together. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ann is survived by her children, Julia King, Steve (Cathy) King and Michelle (Dave) Lyons; grandchildren, Jen (Kristina Natoli) King, Janice (Michael) Graves and Andrew (Ashley Bennefield) Lyons; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Hailey Graves. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Oaks at Woodfield and Heartland Hospice for all their wonderful care and compassion.
