BENDALL, Loretta – Of Burton, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the age of 83.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County or Bendle Public Schools.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Thursday and 12 noon Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Loretta was born in Corning, Arkansas on February 4, 1932, the
daughter of Herman and Anna (Rice) Clifford.
Surviving are her children, Victoria (Jerry) Proffer,
Tim (Amy) Bendall;
her beloved grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda) Bendall and Erin (Steve) Robinson;
her beautiful great-grandsons, Parker and Booker Bendall.
Her family was her life and she cherished every minute spent with them.
Mrs. Bendall retired from Bendle Public Schools, after 25 years of service and South Bendle Elementary, and stepped down as President of the Bendle School Board in December, 2014. She was very proud when the new high school opened.
She is also survived by her sister, Shelby Bailey and her brother, Mickey (Ann) Clifford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her parents and her brother, Bill.
