Alida Mae Freeman, age 89 of Flint, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019. She was born on March 18, 1930 in Flint to parents Aaron and Regina (Bednarski) Strabel. Alida enjoyed working in her younger years, especially for Beeline Fashions where she was the sales representative for the state of Michigan. She was passionate about shuffle board, arts and crafts, NASCAR, going to the casino, her flower garden, and entertaining at her home. Alida had a kind heart and truly loved everyone she met. She is survived by her sons: Larry (Elizabeth), Randy, Terry, Aaron (Alice); daughters: Kimberly (Ed), Julie (Tracey), Diane (Chris), and Rachelle (Rafael); 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and three on the way; one great-great grandchild; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Sybil) Freeman; many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Duane Freeman on May 29, 2018; two sisters, and one brother.
