WHEELER, Larry L. – of Davison, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Davison United Methodist Church, 207 E 3rd St, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Bo Rin Cho officiating. The family will receive visitors 10 AM –12 PM prior to the service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison United Methodist Church or Vernor #400 Odd Fellows Lodge of Davison.
Larry was born in Davison, MI on September 13, 1935, son of the late Kenneth and Avis (Caryl) Wheeler. He married Eleanor Lamb on April 24, 1999. Larry was a member of the Davison United Methodist Church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Vernor #400 Lodge of Davison. He worked for GM and retired on January 1, 1995 after 32 years of service.
Larry is survived by his wife, Eleanor M. (Lamb); children, Marcia “Marcy” Howell, William Fleming, Karen (Mike) Windrim; grandchildren, Lloyd (Dana), Martin (Tori), David, Ashley, Reid, Joshua, Luke, Nicholas, Carey (Nick), Logan (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Austin (Alexis), Kali, Trevor, Nick, Mark, Mason, Alden, Cadence, Carter; great-great-grandchildren, Emmalynn and Colton; brothers, Fred (Joyce) Wheeler, Richard (Joyce) Wheeler; sister-in-law, Nancy Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kimberly Wheeler and Thomas Wheeler; daughter, Lisa A. Sitze; son-in-law, Edward Howell.
