Christensen, Kent S. – of Clio, age 57, died Thursday, April 23, 2020, at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Flint Memorial Park. A private family visitation will take place prior at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Friends will gather at the funeral home at 11:45 Tuesday morning for a hot rod procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Kent was born November 20, 1962, in Flint, Michigan to Albert and Constance (Rossell) Christensen. He was a lifelong resident of Clio and graduated from Clio High School in 1982. Kent was employed at H&S Softener Service for 30 years. He enjoyed and was actively involved in drag racing, oval track “Circle Jerkers” racing, moto-cross, snowmobile and motorcycle racing. He also enjoyed bow hunting and rock and roll music.
Surviving are: Parents, Al (Connie) Christensen of Clio; Brother, David (Kim) Christensen of Clio; Nieces: Hanna (Kyle) and Lexi (Nic); Nephews: Josh, Jordan and Ben; Great nephews: Karsen and Kash; Several aunts and uncles; Kent was preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma Rossell and Grandpa and Grandma Christensen, sister, Shari and baby nephew, Kyle. God speed, Kent. You will be greatly missed by all.
