Jack M. Sullivan, 64, of Lapeer passed away peacefully at his home, and surrounded by family on March 19, 2020. Jack was born in Flint on August 4, 1955 to Edwin Sullivan and Charlene (Lamore) Nordstrom. For 35 years, Jack and his family proudly owned Sullivan's Mirror Lake Market in Lapeer. He was known by everyone for his smart mouth, and ability to make a joke, usually a bit off color. He was generous and a friend to many in the community. For the last several years, he worked as a bartender at the Lapeer Eagles, where he was a member for 30 years. In his free time, Jack could usually be found in his garage taking something apart to see how it worked. He was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time on his boat with his family and friends. Jack was a loving husband to his dear wife, Julie (Shelton) Sullivan, for 30 years. They have two children, Chelsea (Braden) Hayes of Davisburg, MI, and Sean Sullivan of Lapeer. He was succeeded by his wife, children, brother, Delbert Sullivan of Flint, sister, Kathy (Mike) Geyer of Gladwin, and sister-in-law, Wanda Sullivan of Oklahoma. Jack was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents, brother, Edwin Sullivan, sister, Elaine Sullivan and his step-father Chuck Nordstrom.
