Dolores M. Hildensperger, age 89 of Grand Blanc, died Friday, October 20, 2017 surrounded by her children at Mission Point of Holly. Dolores was born October 9, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of the late John and Fern (Bedtelyon) Murray. She attended Ferris State University where she met Russell Hildensperger and was united in marriage on June 25, 1949. Russell preceded her in death on September 25, 2008. Dolores was a loving mother to her children Cheryl (Richard) Massey, Kim (Mike) Conn, Stephen (Arlene) Hildensperger and Anne (Bill) Elia. She also leaves behind the joys of her life: 9 grandchildren Stefanie & Erica (Massey), Joel & Gregory Conn, Lauryn, Russell, and Grace Hildensperger, Nicholas & Brittany Elia, and 8 great grandchildren: Lucas & Delaney, Braeden & Owen, Emery & Rylee, and Quinn & Devinn. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Murray. The family would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the outstanding staff at American House – Grand Blanc, Mission Point of Holly, and the Medical Team Hospice for their loving care of our mother. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint, with Father Thomas Firestone celebrating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 4-8pm, with a Rosary Service at 7pm at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors at church one hour prior to Mass, beginning at 10am. Interment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission Point of Holly or American House – Grand Blanc, MI. |
