SEAMES, Bonnie Norma – of Davison, age 95, passed away August 3, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Arnold Bracy officiating. Burial will be in Stiles Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Friday and 10-11 AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the The Maine Rebekah Lodge # 319.
Bonnie was born in Goodland, MI on April 12, 1920, daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Rutherford) Smith. She married Carl Seames, Sr. in 1939 in Lapeer, MI and together they shared 28 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 1967. Bonnie later married Elmer Seames in 1983 in Lapeer, MI and together they shared six loving years of marriage before his passing in 1989. She was a member of The Maine Rebekah Lodge # 319. Bonnie worked at Lapeer Fabricators and Oakdale Center in Lapeer.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Kenneth (Sharon) Seames, Carl “Dutch” Seames, Jr., Susan Thompson, Sandra (Clark) Davis; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; brother, William (Mary Ellen) Smith. She was preceded in death by her children, Betty Carls, Thomas Seames, Sr.; siblings, Don Smith, Ken Smith, Doris Marks, Bobby Smith, Jack Smith, Jim Smith, Herb Smith and Glenn Smith. The family would like to thank the staff at The Pines of Burton Memory Care South and the nurses and ninth floor staff at Hurley Medical Center for the loving care they all gave Bonnie.
