BROOKE, Elaine A. – Of Flint, age 91, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Briarwood Manor.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Thomas Blossom officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Elaine was born in Fennville, Michigan, one of seven children of Edward and Margaret (Kluck) Foster.
She was employed by Smith-Bridgman's Department Store in Grand Blanc for 14 years, retiring in 1980.
Surviving are three sons, Carl of Grand Blanc,
Robert and wife Marie of Newberry,
Gary and wife Linda of Grand Blanc;
two grandchildren, Marc and Candace Brooke;
four step-grandchildren;
many great-grandchildren;
one sister, Marian St. John of Ann Arbor;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, on August 4, 2000.
