PRUITT, Randall A. “Randy” – Of Grand Blanc, age 63, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dan Louman officiating.
Burial in River Rest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Michigan State University.
Visitation 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Randy was born in Flint, Michigan on February 25, 1955, the son of the late Ralph and Edith Pruitt.
Randy was a celebrated athlete, having excelled in multiple sports at Flint Central. He continued his career playing baseball for his beloved Spartans.
Randy was inducted into the Greater Flint Sports Hall of Fame for baseball.
Randy retired after 30 years working for GM Delphi.
He was also an avid golfer and worked at Captains Club after retirement.
Surviving are daughter, Shelby (Anthony) Kennedy;
brothers, Greg (Kathy) Pruitt and
Ron (Lorraine) Pruitt;
6 nieces and many friends.
