RHODES, Bobby Lee - of Grand Blanc, age 77, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Jonathan Perrotta officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Visitation 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Bobby was born on May 1, 1937 and was the son of th late Flay and Myrl(Walker) Rhodes. He married Aldina Malones on June 25, 1978 in Las Vegas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Elks. Bobby loved to golf, spending time with his friends and family and was an avid sports fan. He was a very generous man of his time and energy. Surviving are his wife, Aldina; children, Jeff (Donna) of Jacksonville, Florida, Jody (Dave) Miller of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin;
grandchildren, Tiffany, Erin, Jacob and Samantha; brothers, Paul (Kathryn) Rhodes, J.D. Rhodes and Jack (Anne) White. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Maxie McCleary and Virginia Pearson. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
