Mabry, Iina – of Flint, age 76, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Genesys Health Park in Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 15, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 11 AM until time of service at 2 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Iina was born July 7, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Charles and Nora (Grieve) Johnson. She had resided in the Flint area most of her life. Iina graduated from Flint Central High School. She married Howard Mabry on October 16, 1972. She was employed at C-M Ambulance in Clio for over 30 years. Iina was very creative and enjoyed quilting, crochet and sewing.
Surviving are: husband, Howard; 6 children: Iina (Jim) Lannon of Flint, Brian Carl of VA., Kim (Jeffrey) Shimmons of Mt. Morris, Karen (Dennis) Strouth of Clio, Tom Mabry and fiancé Lisa of Burton and Christopher (Katina) Mabry of VA. 28 grandchildren. 47 great grandchildren. Sister, Olive Townsend; Brothers: Audie (Esther) Johnson and Mark (Jane) Johnson. Iina was also preceded in death by her daughter, Laura.
