NOVAK, Joseph Paul – age 67 passed away on September 22, 2016 in Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 1 PM – 8 PM with Rosary Service at 7 PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 26, 2016 at St. Pius X Catholic Chruch – 3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint, MI 48532 with one hour of visitation prior to. Joseph was born on April 9, 1949 to the late George and Mary (Gabriau) Novak in Port Huron, MI. He graduated from Lapeer High School in 1967. He went on to become a successful tool and dye maker for over 42 years. He was an extremely hard worker and absolutely loved his craft. He even taught himself the art of watchmaking. Joseph was a member of the VFW for several years and served the 3087 post as their accountant. Joseph was a generous, loving man that will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his sister Barbara (Ken) Lewis; nephew: Kenny Lewis and several other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Eva Novak and parents George and Mary Novak.
