Harvey was born September 12, 1933 in Detroit the son of Michael and Lena (Hartman) Jacobs. He retired from Buick Motors in Flint. He was a member of Congregation Beth Israel.
Surviving are: first cousins, Al and Bernice Riskin of West Bloomfield and Phyllis Riskin of Great Neck, NY; second cousins, Evan Riskin and Julie Tourikis of Walled Lake and Eric and Janis Schiffer of West Bloomfield; and his best friend Larry Feinstein of Flint.
