GROVER, Thomas S. – of New York, formerly of Michigan, age 21, died Thursday, February 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Darrell Bailey officiating. Entombment to follow in Flint Memorial Park with full Military Honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 9PM, Thursday from 9AM until 9PM and on Friday from 9AM until the time of service at 1PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Thomas was born on January 8, 1993 in Flint, Michigan to Stacy Wilber and Daniel Grover. He attended Clio and Midland High School and was a 2012 graduate of Grayling High School. Thomas was a current member of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed woodworking, country music, hunting, fishing, building cars, comedies, drawing and loved eating, especially his favorites- baked beans, BBQ ribs and pulled pork. Thomas was a true family man and enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: mother, Stacy (William) Meyer of Millington; father, Daniel (Michelle) Grover of Grayling; 7 siblings, Stephanie Curtiss, Sabrina (Don) Waattii, Curtis (Rian) Meyer, Nicole (Paul) Ferarro, Cole (Kaylee) Kelly, Hannah Meyer, Ashton Kelly; grandparents, Charles (Sue) Wilber, Anthony (Georgia) Kelly, Wes Miller and Elaine Wilber; aunts and uncles, Don Meyer, Marsha (Bob) Polind, Chris (Barbara) Meyer, Rebecca (Frank) Molina, Ronald McCullough, Teri (Theo) Ulanski, Lori Faber, Don (Tammy) Grover, Loretta Husted, Mary Phetsoun, Charlene Bass; nieces and nephews, Layla and Cadon Waattii, Roman Halvarson, Levi Kelly, Isaiah Ferarro, Dylan Meyer, Maddox Curtis, Michael and Maverick Wiskirchen; God parents, Majdi (Tamara) Ishaq, Bill (Dawn) Fagerstrom; special friends, Kaitlyn Martin, Mrs. Armack, Richard Plummer, Brianna and Alec Ishaq; other mother, Mrs. Armarck; many other loving family members and friends.
