Together again, Douglas and Susan Johnson reunited. After 83 years of sharing her companionship, love and heart with all, Susan Lynn Kelly Johnson has left to be with her husband, Douglas (Dewey) Leonard Johnson and many other loved ones who left before her...In recent days she was in the company of numerous people she loved and cared for. She will be greatly missed by so many. Born in Flint, MI August 14, 1936 to such loving parents Wayne and Loraine Kelly. At an early age these parents would teach Susan and her siblings, Sharon, Dale, and David all the caring qualities that were necessary to create a loving, nurturing home. On February 25, 1955 Susan married the man of her dreams, and a solid foundation was in place to build a family. Four children were provided a loving, safe home by this union. The family values taught in this home can be witnessed today. A strong loving bond amongst each of the children continues through adulthood. An example of what grows from unselfish, loving parents. Susan's love continues through her children, Cynthia (Michael) Anderson, Tamara (Mark) Dennis, Karyn (Charles) Sessink, and Brian (Julie) Johnson, 25 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren with 4 more on the way. She will be remembered for her friendship with so many. It must be said that even a person dialing the wrong number would be destined to enjoy a long pleasant conversation on the phone with her. She found a way to open a conversation with anyone, babies and young children got top billing. Her home was always filled with friends and family who enjoyed her company. A collector of Teddy Bears, member of the DAR, the family photographer , and a strong believer in the Lord. A true wife and mother. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
