RUPRIGHT, Clair Thomas – of Davison, age 48, passed away April 29, 2016 at home after a strong fight with cancer. A Funeral Service will be held 6PM Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 12PM until the time of service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be considered to the family.
Clair was born at McLaren Hospital in Flint, MI on January 19, 1968, son of Seth and Dixie Rupright. He married Toni Buckner on February 28, 2013. Clair attended Beecher Schools and EAJ in Mt. Morris. He worked at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery where he was proud to make sure that he took good care of others loved ones. Clair was in the United States Navy, a big sports fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Red Wings. He enjoyed hunting and golfing and had the incredible ability to make everyone he knew laugh uncontrollably. Clair had a wonderful wit.
Clair leaves behind his wife, Toni Rupright who loved him and will miss him dearly; children, Nick, Taylor, Dillon, Tyler; grandchildren, Ava, Brayden, Savanna; parents, Seth and Dixie Rupright; sister, Teresa (Michael) Bundy; brother, Larry (Rachel) Rupright; in-laws, Mary (Carl) Knieper, Henry (Beth) Buckner; beloved dog, Jack; special thanks to nephew and niece, Shane and Terra, also special friends, JT and Eddie; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; aunt, Delores Rupright and many beloved cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents.
