RINGLE, Beverlie J. - age 67, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Her generous and adventuresome spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Born on June 2, 1950 in Corunna, Michigan, Bev was the daughter of Marie and Russell Ringle. A born adventurer, Bev led an exciting and active life, attending school in Switzerland and embarking on a myriad of outdoor adventures. She was also a storyteller, weaving comical tales of her own antics as well as those of her friends. During her long career in social work, Bev worked for a number of Flint-area organizations, including Love, Inc., the Salvation Army and Mott Community College’s Project Breakthrough. She was particularly devoted to the support of women who were striving for independence, working tirelessly on their behalf. Endlessly creative, Bev enjoyed all manner of crafts, using her talents to produce amazing gifts for her friends. She also enjoyed collecting jewelry – amassing a vast number of rings – and modeling her “bling,” whenever she had the chance. She also loved hats – lots and lots of hats. Throughout her life, Bev’s faith was her guide, and even during the greatest of her struggles, she sought to help others and to live out the will of God. Bev leaves behind her father, Russel Ringle, nieces Madeline and Molly Baker, and special friends Shundra Tubb and daughter, Brandy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie G. Ringle and her brother, Robert Ringle. Family and friends will gather at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 10 a.m. to remember Bev. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bev’s name may be made to the North End Soup Kitchen.
