PEA, Mr. Robert James Jr. - Age 94, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 12 noon Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Blackwell AME Zion Church, 1902 Sonny St., with funeral service commencing at 1 p.m. Rev. Anthony Morris, Host Pastor, Rev. Alexander West officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Association, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 12 noon Saturday. Mr. Pea will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12 noon-8 p.m. Friday.
