BEAMER, David “Dick” - of Davison, age 78, passed away May 5, 2012 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 and 5-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
David was born in Flint on March 7, 1934, son of the late Paul and Geneva (Barr) Beamer, stepfather, Nelson Staley. He married Lucretia Gregory on May 16, 1953 in Geneseeville, MI. Lucretia preceded him in death on October 19, 2009. He was employed by AC-Spark Plug Division for over 30 years, retiring in 1985.
David is survived by his children, Debra (James) Hadden, Karen Brummitt, Dennis Beamer, Calvin (Cindy) Beamer, Pam (Sam) Badal, Kathy (Gary) Brown and Roger (Joy) Beamer; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and his sister, Barb (Bob) Plasterer. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rachel and great-grandson, Samuel.
