LEHR, Nina Mae – of Genesee Twp., age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Brian's House Hospice surrounded by her family. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. The family will welcome visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday and Monday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Quality Michigan – South Camp.
Nina was born in Flint, MI on March 14, 1935, daughter of the late Edgar and Julia (Bentley) Peters. She married Paul Lehr on June 30, 1956. Nina worked 19.6 years for GM – Fisher Body – Saginaw St and 15 years at Kearsley - Armstrong Middle School.
Nina is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul; children, Gary (Cindy) Lehr, Bary (Shelly) Lehr, Larry (Janie) Lehr; grandchildren, Crystal (Randy) Shimmons, Derek (Sara) Lehr, Ashley (Craig) Gagne, Mandy (Kerry) Lehr-Snider, Katie (Brandon) Grimslid, Bary Lehr, Jr., Nik Lehr, Danielle Lehr; great-grandchildren, Dominick, Mercedes, Logan, Layne, Chloe, Adam, Gabby, Madison, Morgan, K.J. (Kerry Jr.) and Noah; siblings, Lester (Nita) Peters, Charles (JoAnn) Peters, James (Lila) Peters; twin sister, Irene Lomax; brother-in-law, Jerry Natzke. She was preceded in death by daughter, Theresa; son, Paul; daughter, Paula; sister, Josephine (Marlin) Garchow, Sandy (Harold) Schnider, Alice Natzke; brother-in-law, Charles Lomax.
