Joseph was born January 14, 1940, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Joseph and Vivian (Wilhelm) Schuster Sr. He married Violet Holland, and together they had three daughters. Joe later married Gail Graham on May 15, 1976, and they enjoyed many wonderful years together. He worked at General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 1992 and was co-owner of Schuster Excavating for many years. Joe was a faithful member of Faith Missionary Church in Flint and founder of the Clio Walking Club for over 25 years. An avid NASCAR fan, he found joy in watching races and the thrill of speed. Joe could often be found in his garage, tinkering away on various projects or skillfully crafting birdhouses with his carpentry expertise. His love for the outdoors led him to spend many joyous hours working on projects around the house while enjoying a nice cigar. Joe was a proud grandpa and adored all his grandchildren; he was always ready with a dollar and a smile for each of them. His funny sense of humor brought many laughs to those around him, and he will be greatly missed.
