PELLERIN, John F. – of Clio, age 90, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Monday, January 28, 2013 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Chaplain Todd Regester officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10AM until time of services at 12 noon. Contributions may be made to the McLaren Home Health and Hospice.
John was born August 9, 1922 in Flint to the late Joseph and Edna (Benjamin) Pellerin. He lived in Clio most of his life. He served in the US Army during WW II in the Pacific. He married Louise Young on September 6, 1947 at St. Mary Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2005. Mr. Pellerin retired from Buick in 1975 with 33 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #599.
Surviving are: daughter, Denise (Carl) Frost of Clio; grandson, Ryan Fohey of Clio; brother, George (Shirley) Pellerin of Weidman; sister in law, Catherine (Robert) Snow of Waterford; family friend, Mike Fohey; several nieces and nephews.
